God Against Humanity are a band from France that plays a very brutal and melodic mixture of black and death metal and this is a review of their self released 2026 album "The Judgement".
Tragic sounding keyboards start off the album before going into a heavier direction while you can also hear all of the musical instruments that are present on the recording. Most of the tracks are also very long and epic in length along with the faster sections of the songs also adding in a decent amount of blast beats.
Vocals are a mixture of death metal growls and black emtal screams while the riffs also add in a decent amount of melody. Throughout the album you can also hear a good mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts along with some of the tracks also adding in a small amount of clean playing as well as one song also introducing clear vocals onto the recording, tremolo picking can also be heard in some of the faster riffing.
God Against Humanity plays a musical style that takes the brutal and melodic forms of black and death metal and mixes them together to create a sound of their own. The production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover modern world, societal tension and personal isolation.
In my opinion God Against Humanity are a very great sounding brutal and melodic mixture of black and death metal and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "The Judgement" "Blood Of The Soil" and "Bury Me". 8 out of 10.
