Deathillusion Interview

1. Can you tell us a little bit about the band for those that have never heard of you before?
We are some kind of black metal band of southern Spain, not in the way of a traditional black metal band regarding our music but in the meaning of the idea behind it.
It could maybe be described as a strong ritualistic content materialized in just the kind of music needed to interpret our beliefs, no more and no less.

2. How would you describe your musical sound?
Something lost between dark black metal melodies and catchy rock riffs.

3. Your lyrics cover a lot of Luciferian, Occult and Left Hand path themes, can you tell us a little bit more about your interest in these topics?
The whole concept behind the band is to use all what we do, from the music to the image to connect to higher states of consciousness, it is more like a profound personal experience for us than something made for others to understand, but of course the lyrics are the more direct way to share this experience with others interested in the same themes. So it’s more a matter of convictions than just lyrical themes.

4. What is the meaning and inspiration behind the bands name?
Well the name just represents the two main topics of our ideals, on the one hand DEATH as the end of all nature and beginning of next forms of being and on the other ILLUSION as the way all cosmic existence that surrounds us blinds us from the true chaotic aspects of the universe.

5. According to the Metal Archives page the band split up for awhile, what was the cause of the break up and the decision to reform?
The causes of the break were just personal differences between members and geographic impossibility to continue in that way, there was never a real break up just a search for new members.

6. What are some of the best shows that the band has played so far and how would you describe your stage performance?
We have played with other Spanish top acts like AVULSED and NOKTEM for example.
Our stage performance is, as I described above, one more way to be what we are, Inciense, altars and much symbology in combination of our music and dark ambiences makes our performance the powerfull it is. We lately had released a live video that shows it pretty good.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oolOyvMHA04

7. Do you have any touring or show plans for the future?
Yes, we are planning a tour on national level and looking forward to expand it to Europe as soon as possible.

8. Currently you are unsigned, are you looking for a label or received any interest?
Well, at the moment we are working towards an upcoming album, once finished it will be released properly.

9. On a worldwide level how has the feedback been to your music by fans of extreme metal?
On national level it seems to work pretty well, people enjoy our performances and show interest to our Ep and our merchandise, and of course social networks help a lot to be heard at other countries, but once again we work more for people interested in our way of thinking than our actual music.

10. What direction do you see your music heading into on future releases?
The compositions are getting darker and darker and more focused on the ambiences and ritualistic passages.

11. What are some bands or musical styles that have influenced your music and also what are you listening to nowadays?
Of course the link between us and bands like dissection is a fact. In the beginning our mainly influence was the Reinkaos LP of this band, and also the more extreme sounds of Watain and the rock essence of The Devils Blood have finally lead us more and more to a personal unique sound.

12.Outside of music what are some of your interests?
Of course in every band every member has different interests in this case irrelevant for our music, we do what we do out of conviction.

13. Any final words or thoughts before we wrap up this interview?
Thank you very much for the interview, may it be a way for us to get to those who can appreciate our work the way it is meant.
Hail Azerate!!

Rhythm  guitars  range  from  slow,  mid  paced  to  fast  riffs  that  combine  occult  black  metal  with  melodic  death  metal  to  create  a  sound  of  their  own,  while  the  lead  guitars  are  very  melodic  sounding  black/death  metal  guitar  solos  and  leads,  as  for  the  classical  guitars  they  use  finger  picking  and  full  chords  to  enhance  the  occult  elements  of  the  music.

Vocals  range  from  deep  death  metal  growls,  high  pitched  black  metal  screams  and  spoken  word  occult  chanting,  while  the  lyrics  cover  Luciferian,  Anti  Cosmic  Satanism  and  Left  Hand  Path  themes,  as  for  the  production  it  has  a  very  strong,  powerful,  heavy  and  dark  sound  to  it.

Dissection/Reinkaos/BlackHorizon Music/The End Records/2006 CD Review

Dissection where a band from Sweden that played a very melodic form of black/death metal and this is a review of their 2006 album "Reinkaos" which was release as a joint effort between Black Horizon Music and The End Records.

Drums alternate between slow, mid paced to fast with a lot of blast beats, while the bass playing has a very dark tone with riffs that follows the riffing that is coming out of the guitars.

Rhythm guitars are a mixture of slow, mid paced to fast melodic black/death riffs that are very melodic sounding that also take influences from thrash and traditional metal, while the lead guitars are very melodic sounding guitar solos, as for the acoustic guitars they bring a lot of darkness and melody to the music as well as some classical influences.

Vocals are mostly high pitched black metal screams with the last song having clean singing female vocals, while the lyrics cover Anti Cosmic Satanism, Left Hand Path, Qlipoth, Sumerian, Egyptian, Norde and Eastern Occultism as well as alchemy, as for the production it has a very heavy and professional sound to it.

In my opinion this was a very good album from Dissection and while some of their more hardcore fans did not enjoy this album, I still liked it a lot because it went deeper into the occult than their previous albums. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Black Dragon" "Dark Mother Divine "God Of Forbidden Light" and "Maha Kali". RECOMMENDED BUY.

Conspiracy Interview

1. Can you update us with what is going on with the project these days?

We are thinking about making an original video clip. So if anybody can help us with that or can suggest someone, please get in touch with us at www.myspace.com/metalconspiracy

2. How would you describe the musical style of the new album?

CONSPIRACY is a lifelong quest to create original blend of dark and extreme, yet harmoniously enjoyable material with the main ingredient – Black Metal.

This time I can add the word “progressive” to the description, because of the unorthodox arrangements spiced up by orchestration, proper heavy metal solo guitars and different style of vocals, which are not always the traditional BM raspy scream.

3. What are some of the lyrical topics and concepts the new album explores?

Generally speaking the album title is about fate. Humans take life for granted, but in fact nobody is guiding and everything is chaos – consequences of occasional coincidences.

Many songs on this album contain classical poetry by authors like Aleister Crowley and Charles Baudelaire. Most of the songs feature some satanic horror episodes for the purpose of the dark mystic entertainment.

4. What is the meaning and inspiration behind the band's name?

I think I came up with that name in 1994. I meant the obvious grip on power by the religious authorities that subdue and slow down progress and enlightenment all over the world.

The name is a protest against the monotheistic dogma.

5. You where a member of Meleschech for a long time what made you decide to quit that band and concentrate on this project?

Melechesh was going to leave Osmose Productions and sign the record deal with Nuclear Blast in 2008. It became obvious to all of us that I couldn’t participate any longer because I wasn’t ready to commit to the schedule from 90 to 150 tour dates per year!!! Besides that issue I had to move away from the main Melechesh concept – Middle Eastern music flavor. Just got tired of it. Final and the main reason was the creative autocracy within Melechesh. In that band only one person decides which riffs and concepts are good and which aren’t usable. I am a composer, not just a musician who is happy to be in a famous band. Despite all that I am happy that Ashmedi and Moloch are still my friends and I even got to help them a little bit with their new album which was released on the 1st of October.

6. Do you have any plans in the future to use other musicians and do live shows?

My music is not made for the stage. Best place to listen to my music is in the car, during a long drive when you can reflect on things, when nothing disturbs your imagination, when the subject of that dark episode is not interfering with a reality of some ridiculous nerd sipping his beer in apathy and picking his nose while I transmit the demonic harmonies from the stage...
Some alcoholic beverages, like beer, enjoyed better in a crowded, cozy pub – others, like Remy Martin XO are for the dark evenings by the fireplace.

As for using other musicians – yes, this album is collaboration between me and Aryan Blaze, a brilliant guitarist and composer. Who knows, maybe we’ll use more talented musicians next time.

7. How has the new album been received so far by metal fans worldwide?

To be honest, I didn’t expect so many nice comments on myspace and e-mails from people who call it awesome and tell me that they listen to it every day. This is the best reward for me.

8. how would you describe your musical progress over the years and what direction do you see the music heading into on future releases?

Over the years I went deeper into more intricate arrangements and moved away from just exhibiting cool nasty riffs. Good technical skills and correct sound without songwriting talent mean nothing to me. I create different song structures and strive to make the album interesting as a whole. Not just one success formula repeated, not a salad of riffs, empty brutality, monotonic harmonies and squashed overproduced mixes. CONSPIRACY will not be to your taste, if you like to hear the same concept one track after another.

Future albums will deffinitely have more epic depth, catchy melodies and more dark mysticism.

9. What are some band or musical styles that have influenced your music and also what are you listening to nowadays?

Main influences in the 80’s and 90’s where Judas Priest, King Diamond, Black Sabbath with Dio and Tony Martin, Venom, Celtic Frost and to some extent Death, Deicide and Marduk.

Today I listened to Tyrantz Empire, ABSU, Assassin and Onslaught

I listen to many heavy metal bands when I work out: Helloween, Grave Digger, Accept, Running Wild, Saxon, etc. I also like old thrash like Overkill, Exodus, Testament, Destruction and Kreator.

The albums of the 80’s bands are still as much enjoyable as they were then. For me at least. So if the music is good and honest – it is timeless!

10. What role does Occultism and Paganism play in the music?

I hate monotheism in all forms. I embrace Satanism as a form of protest and the true Occult as a form of research of what exists beyond the material reality surrounding us.

Paganism means “polytheism” – worshiping of many deities. It is an ancient custom from the times when humans were not aware about the universe we know today.

11. Outside of music what are some of your interests?

I travel a lot. I am interested in other cultures and history in general. Every day I spend about one hour in the gym, pumping iron. I shoot big guns at the shooting range 1-3 times a week. I’d like to dedicate more time to kick box.

12. Any final words or thoughts before we close this interview?
I’d like to thank all the people who support CONSPIRACY, buy albums and find time to send those nice comments about CONSPIRACY music on myspace.

Neron Kaisar Interview

1. Can you update us with what is going on with the band these days?
1. Now, we’ve started to work on a new material, and also occupied by preparation of the concert program for tour in support of an album across Russia, but if any organizers outside Russia have wish to see us on their stages, we will accept their offers with pleasure.

2. How would you describe the musical style that you are going for with the new album?
2. We will make more hard and more black, we’re planning to work with ethnic instruments of ancient times and with colour of that epoch, but the album won’t be positioned as “ethno”. Our genre will stay the same.

3. What are some of the lyrical topics that you explore with the new release?
3. For sure it’s Nero’s dark side and everything that connected with his history.

4. What are some of the best shows that the band has played so far and how would you describe your stage performance?
4. We think our last performance which was in our native city – Ufa. We have organized this black metal festival ourselves, having invited bands from other big cities of Russia and it should be said that concert has passed with the great success. When we appearing on stage we always prepare surprises for fans in making covers on their favorite bands, making show, trying to present a quality sound and execution with external attributes of our performance, such as costumes and live behavior on a scene.

5. Do you have any other side projects besides this band, or is this a full time project?
5. Now we give all free time and forces to this project, for the time being we don't have any thoughts to create parallel projects. We are supporters of concrete work in one group.

6. How has your music been recieved so far by symphonic black metal fans worldwide?
6.Thanks to our label GP in particular, and also to our diligence and performances. If the band plays a worthy material, eventually, it will notice.

7. How would you describe your musical progress over the years and what direction do you see the music heading into on future releases?
7. We worked a lot on the project and it was not easy sometimes, but, we consider we’ve made everything right and in a short space of time. At present we are happy with the done work, but we will not stop. Time will show, but definitely we want to please with excellent works fans of "black art».

8. What are some bands or musical styles that have influenced your music and also what are you listening to nowadays?
8. For sure it’s black metal. We really like Finnish school of black metal and even we’ve recorded a cover on band Thyrane which we truly respect. And we certainly we like, to listen guru’s of heavy music.

9. What role does Occultism or Satanism play in the music?
9. Well, probably atmosphere is carry by these two concepts. Atmosphere which is inherent only for such special musical direction as black metal. In other directions these two concepts can face, but reveal only superficially. It’s same like an iceberg top which is above water when the iceberg’s most part is under.

10. Outside of music what are some of your interests?
10. Self-development, sports, travel, the nature and mankind’s nayward is interesting to us. And also chick’s and booze :-D

11. Any final words or thoughts before we close this interview?
11. It was interesting to answer your questions. We thank readers of magazine and connoisseur’s of our creativity all over the world supporting us.

Conspiracy/Irremediable/Pulverized Records/2010 CD Review

Conspiracy are a band from the Netherlands that plays a very symphonic form of black metal and this is a review of their 2010 album "Irremediable" which was released by Pulverized Records.

Drums alternate from slow playing to some fast drumming with a lot of blast beats, while the keyboards are very dark and symphonic sounding with the feel of a horror movie soundtrack, as for the bass playing it is mixed down low in the music and seems to follow the riffs that are coming out of the guitars and at times they have a powerful sound.

Rhythm guitars are a mixture of slow, mid paced to fast black metal riffs that have a good amount of melody and influences from death metal as well as traditional metal,
while the lead guitars are very melodic sounding guitar solos that have a classic metal feel to them.

Vocals are mostly high pitched black metal screams with some deep growls thrown in mixed with the occasional clean singing, while the lyrics cover Satanism, Occultism, Witchcraft, Anti Religion, darkness, evil, and war, as for the production it has a very professional sound to it while retaining a little bit of rawness.

In my opinion Conspiracy are a very talented and original band that mixes symphonic metal with traditional metal and should appeal to fans of symphonic black metal. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Black Mass" "Pentagram" "The Invocation Of Hecate" and "The Hag". RECOMMENDED BUY.

Heidenreich/Trance Of An Unholy Union/Napalm Records/1997 CD Review

Heidenreich where a band from Austria that had members of Abigor and they played a style that I would describe as being avant garde metal and this is a review of their 1997 album "Trance Of An Unholy Union" which was released by Napalm Records.

Drum programming is a mixture of slow, mid paced, and fast beats, while the Synthesizers are very symphonic and avant garde sounding with a small amount of piano that gives the music a horror movie soundtrack feel, as for the bass playing it follows the riffs that are coming out of the guitars.

Rhythm guitars are a mixture of slow and fast black metal riffing that is more primal than most avant garde black metal and they also contain a good amount of melody, while the lead guitars have a very weird and distorted sound with some melodic guitar solos.

Vocals are mostly high pitched black metal screams with some clean singing being used at times with some spoken word passages, while the lyrics touch on the occult, satanic, and cosmic themes, as for the production on this album which was recorded and mixed at Tonstudio Hoernix during 1997 sounds very professional and you can hear all of the instruments that are present on this album.

In my opinion Heidenreich where a very underrated avant garde black metal band for their time and if you are a fan of this style you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Cosmic Reflections" "Grim and Bitter Heart" and "Trance Of An Unholy Union". RECOMMENDED BUY.

Abruptum/In Umbra Maliitae Ambularo In Aeternum In Triumpho Tenebraum/Deathlike Silence Productions/1994 CD Review

Abruptum where a 2 piece band from Sweden that played a slow form of black metal that mixed in drone and noise elements to this music and this is a review of their 1994 album "In Umbra Malitiaj Ambularo" which was released by Deathlike Silence Productions.

Drums are mostly slow beats with no fast playing or blast beats, while the keyboards have a very dark sound that gives the music an evil edge, as for the violin when it is used it has a very noisy and avant garde sound.

Guitars are all slow riffing while the vocals are tortured screams about Satanism, pain, and torture, as for the production on this recording it has a very dark sound that captures all of the instruments and vocals.

In my opinion Abruptum where a very good band that was very original for their time and if you are a true fan  of  black  metal,  you already know who they are. RECOMMENDED BUY.

Abyssos/Together We Summon The Dark/Cacophonous Records/1997 CD Review

Abyssos where a band from Sweden that played melodic black metal and this is a review of their classic debut album "Together We Summon The Dark" which was released by Cacophonous Records during the year of 1997.

Drums are very fast with a lot of brutal blast beats and they slow down at times when the music goes into a more slower/heavier and melodic direction, while the bass playing has a very powerful sound with a lot of fast riffing that sounds very professional, as for the keyboards when they are used they enhance the atmosphere of the music..

Rhythm guitars are a mixture of slow, mid paced to fast black metal riffs that are very heavy and melodic, while the lead guitars are mostly melodic guitar solos that mix black and melodic death metal together.

Vocals are high pitched black metal screams mixed in with a little bit of clean singing female vocals, while the lyrics cover topics such as witch burning, vampirism, and dark witchcraft from a left hand path as well as satanic point of view as well as a small amount of anti Christianity, as for the production on this recording which was recorded at Academy Studios during the month of May in the year of 1997 sounds very professional and you can hear all of the musical instruments that are present on this album.

In my opinion Abyssos where a very talented band that was very underrated for their time and if you are a fan of melodic black metal you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "We Hail Thy Entrance" "Lord Of The Sombre Reborn" "In Fear They Left The World Unseen" and "I've Watched The Moon Grow Old". RECOMMENDED BUY.

Black Roller Crop Rotation Interview

1. Can you give us a brief history of the band!
Ben and I have known each other for about a year and a half now and have been playing music together in an Ambient/Instrumental band called NORTHERN VALENTINE. We started BRCR awhile back to explore our fascination with dark ambient/drone/doom/black metal and it has become an obsession for us.

2. What releases have you put out so far!
We are currently working on recording and mixing our first full length album tentatively called, "PRAYERS FROM THE ROTTING SOIL"

3. When can we expect new material!
The Album should be done sometime in March and will most likely be released by GEARS OF SAND RECORDINGS

4. Are there any plans for a tour!
We haven't talked about it yet! We both have many other things going on(family, work, and hordes of other projects)but things are going so well and this has been so amazing so far, I certainly wouldn't rule it out!

5. What are some of the best shows you have played so far!
This has been a studio only project so far but we are playing two shows in March and hopefully many more as time goes on. We will be booking as much as possible!

6. How would you describe your sound to someone who has never heard you before!

Dark pummeling heavy doom, noise obsessed with devastation, destruction and loss. Meditative atonement.

7. What are some of your main influences music wise or non music wise, I can hear a bit of Abruptum and Black Pentacost in your sound!

We are both really into Abruptum and black metal in general. WOLVES IN THE THRONE ROOM, MOSS, NADJA, ASVA,NEUROSIS, NAPALM DEATH, LIGHT OF SHIPWRECK,PRURIENT,DARKTHRONE,CRASS, are some bands that I think have directly influenced us. I'm not familiar with Black Pentacost but I'm gonna check them out as soon as I'm done writing this up! As far as non-musical influences I always have my head in a book, reading is a huge part of my life. I also have a huge affinity for the outdoors.

8. What rule does Satanism, Occultism, Left Hand Path or Anti-Christianity play in your music and life!
Satanism, the occult, ect. have been fascinating to me since I was a young kid. I'm sure they are an influence on our music as well, but for the most part this band draws its influence from natural disasters and ecological devastation and the awe that comes from the realization that you are not at the top of the food chain, and not the center of the fucking universe.

9. What are some good books or films that you would recommend!
As I said earlier I am a huge reader. I just finished a fantastic book by ROBERT KULL called, "Solitude:Seeking Wisdom In Extremes." The author spend a year in solitude in the Patagonia wilderness. Intense, brutal stuff, very fucking metal! I love books on Arctic Exploration. "In the land of the white death" by Valerian Albanov and "Noose of Laurels" by Wally Herbert are two of my favorites. Basically, if it's good writing I'm into it, mysteries, politics, spirituality, nature writing, philosophy, history. If its good, its good. Lets see, films.. I recently saw and loved "No Country for old men" and "In The Year Of The Pig"(documentary about the Vietnam war)

10. What are you listening to these days and what good bands that you would recommend!
There is no shortage of great stuff. I've currently been listening to a lot of OM, ASVA, NADJA, MOSS,BLACK FLAG,CASKET ARCHITECTS. Some great experimental stuff, HUMANS ARE THE WORST INVENTION, BELLTONE SUICIDE. Some great ambient stuff as well, ANDREW WEATHERS, MY EMPTY PHANTOM, anything on GEARS OF SAND, FDH, OR SILBER RECORDS.

11. How would you describe the music scene in the East Coast and what are some good bands that you would recommend!
The scene out here is probably about the same as it is anywhere. You got some really great, dedicated, inspired and interesting people that I'm so glad to know and be involved with and of course, you have tons of jerks. I would recommend checking out anything on the above mentions record labels, GEARS OF SAND, FDH and SILBER RECORDS.

12. Any final words!yes! Thank you so much for the interview, it means a lot to us. BLACK ROLLER CROP ROTATION is going to be very very busy in 2009 so please get in touch with us. We are really nice people. Thanks again! -Jeffrey

13.Thanks for the interview!

Diabolical Interview

Diabolical Interview

1. Can you give us a brief history of the band.

The band was formed in 1996 in Sundsvall, Sweden, by Sverker Widgren. The debut mini album "Deserts of Desolation" was released in 2000 and followed by the debut full-length in 2001, entitled "Synergy". The second album, entitled "A Thousand Deaths" was released in 2002. The album was followed by several tours during 2002 and 2003. After that we began working on a what was to become "The Gallery of Bleeding Art" which finally came out in November 2008.

2. What were you doing for the last 6 years, since the last full length. We experienced a series of unfortunate events.

The main issue for us was to find a suitable label to release "The Gallery of Bleeding Art". We have put a whole lot of effort and heart into this album and we didn't want just anybody who could give us a half-hearted deal release it for us. But after much searching we finally came across ViciSolum Productions.

3. I know in the past members in the band have played in other bands as well , are these other bands still together and can you tell our readers who those bands are.At the moment two of us are involved in other bands.

I play bass in Devian and Sverker do vocals in Demonical.

4. What are some the best live shows that you have done and what crowds would you say are the best or craziest.

It's always a pleasure to play live! It's hard to point out any particular occasion, any show where the crowd is crazy and the moshpit is wild is great. But I'd say that in general the crowds in eastern Europe are more crazy in general.

5. What are your touring plans for the future, any live dates scheduled for the U.S

We are about to do the Hammer Battalion North Tour 2009 together with Unleashed, Belphegor and Devian. The tour starts off in Tallin, Estonia, on the 27th of February and ends in Gothenburg, Sweden, on the 14th of March. After that we have more touring planned for the near future so check www. diabolical. se for updates soon! We'd really like to tour the U.S, although we don't have any plans for that right now.

6. How would you describe your music to a listener that has not ever heard you before.

One of the most difficult questions for any musician. Diabolical has a strong foundation in death metal, although we don’t belong to the vacuum cleaner division of death metal. We are more aligned towards the melodic death metal genre, although we’re not part of the Gothenburg style, we’re far more dark and evil. We’re technical, but we still have a natural flow to our compositions and the music isn’t spastically technical. This is a really hard question, having lived with the band and our songs for many years, but I hope I could bring some clarity to it. It’s easy to find out for yourself nowadays, you’re one click away from our myspace site: myspace. com/religionist.

7. What are some of the bands main music influences, I can hear pretty much every style of metal in your sound.

Personally I can pick up influences anywhere, regardless of band or genre. It could be anything from Morbid Angel to a couple of notes I hear in a film music score. As for the songwriting on "The Gallery of Bleeding Art", and the string arrangements in particular, I spent some time picking up inspiration from composers like Shostakovich and Bartok. There is much in classical music that can be inspiring for making metal. As for our style we don’t try to limit us to any particular style, although we are a death metal band. However we try to be aware of our sound and not trail off too far from how we want Diabolical to sound.

8. Where was the new album recorded at.

The most part of the album was recorded at Necromorbus Studio in Stockholm which is run by our own Sverker. This was very convenient since we were basically working in an environment we're used to and we could focus on creating exactly what we wanted to. The drums were recorded at Underground studio, and the mixing was done there as well. This was a natural choice for us as well since both previous albums were recorded there.

9. Does Satanism or the Occult play any rule in the bands life style or music.

Yes.

10. What are you listening to these days and what are some new bands that you would recommend.

I listen to anything that I find interesting for any reason. Recently I've listened a whole lot to the latest Enslaved album, "Vertebrae", a phenomenal album. I’ve also listened some to the new Anna Ternheim album as well. Not as good as the previous album but still enjoyable. Obviously I don’t limit myself to listening to metal. There is much to discover, and find inspiration from, from many genres. As long as a song or an album has quality and a good nerve I can listen to it and enjoy it, regardless of genre.

11. What are some good books or movies that you would recommend.

Right now I’m mostly reading poker books. Poker is one of my largest interests besides music. Right now I’m reading the second volume of Dan Harrington's book on cash games. I'd say he's one of the very best poker authors so anybody who’s interested in playing poker without going broke should spend a lot of time with his books.Just like with music there are so many crap movies that shouldn’t be viewed by anyone. I had a lousy day on my last tour with Devian and decided to watch a movie to get in a better mood, so I thought I’d watch a comedy. I started watching Disaster Movie and it was probably the worst piece of crap I’ve seen in years, had to turn it off half way through. So beware of that one! When it comes to good comedy I’d say that Monty Python’s Quest For The Holy Grail is at the top of my list. It should be at the top of everybody’s list.

12. How would you describe the metal scene in Sweden, I know in the past there have been some great metal acts that have came from that country.

The scene here is flourishing, as it has always done. For some reason Sweden has always been at the very front of the worldwide metal scene. It’s hard for me to say why, I really don’t know. At the same time I’m not that updated on the current status of the scene. But historically the Swedish scene has stood for much quality and innovation and I hope we can keep it up. With Diabolical we do our best to contribute.
